Valom 1:144 Handley Page Hereford Medium Bomber Model Kit

Description

The Hereford is a type of Handley Page Hampden fuselage equipped with an air-cooled H-type 24-cylinder Napier Dagger (1,000hp) engine, and it was produced by Short and Harland.

This aircraft made its first flight in 1937, and a total of 100 were produced. It was expected to be equivalent in performance to the Hampden and was deployed to units from 1940, but due to engine overheating problems, the operating rate was low and it could not participate in actual combat; all the produced aircraft were used for bomber crew training.
