Description

The research and development started in 2002. It is the first operational deep-sea manned submersible independently designed and developed by China. It aims to provide a deep-sea transportation platform for China’s international ocean seabed resource surveys, seabed operations and scientific research. It can cover 99.8% of the seabed on the earth. It passed the acceptance and was put into use in 2013. The maximum diving depth is 7062 meters.
