Description
The Taki 29300 series is a tank car exclusively for concentrated sulfuric acid, manufactured from 1976, and 62 cars were manufactured by 2004.
Cars owned by Dowa Mining manufactured in the 2000s were characterized by their silver tank bodies.
They were used to transport concentrated sulfuric acid between Kosaka Railway’s Kosaka Station and Akita Rinkai Railway’s Akita Hokko Station, but transportation ended in March 2008 and all cars were scrapped.
