Description

The 24 Series 25-100 series is a limited express sleeper train that appeared in 1976.

The sleeper express “Hayabusa” is a train that connected Tokyo and West Kagoshima, and since 1980 it has been the train with the longest running distance in Japan. In 1985, a lounge car was added to the sleeper express “Hayabusa” and it became a 15-car train, and the EF66-0 series, which had been used to pull freight trains, was selected to pull the Blue Train for the first time and played an active role, replacing the EF65-1000 series that had been used to pull the Blue Train until then.

• The Ohanfu 25-100 and 200, Ohane 25-100, and Orone 25-0 types reproduce the appearance of the original JNR era with emergency exits with a newly manufactured car body
• The Kani 24-0 type reproduces the early type with a micro skirt
• The Ohanfu 25-100 type has a newly manufactured and installed TN coupler
• The Ohanfu 25-200 type has a light board and train mark print No printing
• The Oshi 24 series reproduces the appearance of the 100 series, which was incorporated from the Oshi 14 series and had a silver stripe
• The taillights and train mark are equipped with a constant lighting board, and the Ohanfu 25-100 series has an ON-OFF switch
• The taillights and train mark are lit by white LEDs
• The bed is reproduced in blue
• The H-rubber is reproduced in gray
• The locomotive head mark comes with a bowl-shaped “Hayabusa, Asakaze, Fuji” and a mountain-shaped “Fuji”
• The train mark comes with a glass part printed with “Hayabusa”, and unprinted glass parts and stickers are included for replacement
