Description
The H100 series is a diesel-electric car based on JR East’s GV-E400 series, and was introduced to replace the Kiha 40 series. It is currently mainly used on the Hakodate Main Line, Soya Main Line, and Muroran Main Line.
Features
- Reproduces the lights at the bottom of the front window, which are different from the GV-E400 type
- The roof is newly produced
- The side stripe is based on yellow-green, reproducing the appearance of the mass-produced car, which is only pasted between the boarding and alighting doors
- The side glass reproduces green glass
- The car number is selectable and a transfer sheet is included
- The head and tail lights and the front display are equipped with a constant lighting board and have an ON-OFF switch
- The head and tail lights and the front display are illuminated by white LEDs
- The front display is selectable and includes a sticker
- TN coupler (SP) is standard equipment
- Uses a power source with a flywheel
- Uses a new current collection system and silver wheels
- Uses an M-13 motor
