Description
The 80000 series Hinotori was introduced in March 2020 as a limited express train running between Osaka Namba and Kintetsu Nagoya. Unlike conventional trains, the body is colored in a deep, lustrous metallic red. The leading car is a premium high-decker with a higher floor than usual, featuring a carpeted interior and 2-row + 1-row seats made of genuine leather.

- Uses a power source with a flywheel
- Uses a new current collection system and silver wheels
- The driver’s cab side of the leading car is equipped with a dummy coupler
