Description

The 205 series is a commuter train that first appeared in 1984.

This series was introduced to the Saikyo-Kawagoe Line in 1989, replacing the 103 series that had been in operation until then.

The trains on the Saikyo-Kawagoe Line were in service for a long time with a stripe of the line’s color “Green No. 15”, but were replaced by the E233 series in 2016.
