Description
The Panzerkampfwagen IV formed the backbone of the German tank units in World War II. Between 1933 and 1945, it was produced in greater numbers than any other German battle tank of the time. The H version, which was the first to be fitted with side skirts to increase tank protection, was built from 1943 to 1944.
