Description
The fireboat “Fire Fighter” served the New York Fire Department from 1938 to 2012. It is known for its enormous extinguishing power and its use in major fires. It received the Gallant Ship Award for its bravery and service. Today it is a museum ship and National Historic Landmark. Large extinguishing mast with spray nozzle, radar antennas, seven decks with extinguishing cannons, detailed wheelhouse, powerful bow extinguishing nozzle.
