Description
JMASDF’s Abukuma class DE is categorized as a coastal guard ship but has displacement tonnage of 2000t and the wide variety of weapons as Harpoon SSM launchers, 20mm CIWS, 76mm gun, ASROC SUM launcher & torpedo launchers as to the fleet destroyer. Abukuma(DE229) is the name ship and Jintsu(DE230) is its second ship. Hasegawa’s new model is the two-in-one kit and depicts the completion state of the ships. As the new tooling kit, it achieves the excellent molding standard of nowadays. Hull parts is splitted in half. A set of decal for two ships is provided for the white lines painted on the deck ship names and numbers.
