Description
The PZInż. 302 was a Polish light artillery tractor developed in the late 1930s to provide mobility for the 37 mm Bofors anti-tank gun and other light artillery pieces.
Based on the Polski Fiat 508/518 chassis, it featured a four-wheel drive layout, strengthened suspension, and space for a gun crew and ammunition.
Compact, reliable, and highly maneuverable, the PZInż. 302 was designed to keep pace with infantry units and improve the mobility of Poland’s anti-tank defenses.
Only a limited number were in service at the outbreak of the Second World War, and most were lost during the September Campaign of 1939.
