At the 1981 24 Hours of Daytona, the Lancia Beta Montecarlo Turbo No.24, fielded by Jolly Club Italia and driven by Emanuele Pirro, Martino Finotto, and Carlo Facetti, finished 5th overall. This performance contributed to Lancia’s dominance in the Group 5 under 2-liter category that year, securing multiple race victories and the World Constructors’ Championship title.
