One of the camouflage colors used for painting upper surfaces of all Soviet military aircraft from the mid-1941 until the summer of 1943.
From the summer of 1943 until ca. 1947-1948 still used as one of the upper surface camouflage colors of Soviet non-fighter aircraft.
